FUSION FITNESS

New Classes for January:

1. Group Pilates Reformer classes - take your Pilates practice to a new level.  The Pilates Reformer helps one establish torso stability and postural alighnment while working peripheral limbs in a range of motion.  The adjustable springs allow for progressive resistance which helps to lengthen and strengthen the muscles rather than building bulk.  It makes for an effective, no impact stretching and toning workout that is friendly to the joints.  A relaxing, almost effortless glide back and forth on the carriage with none of the overexertion sensation that you get from pumping iron or weight machines at the gym.  The effects go deep and you will engage muscles you never knew you had.  As you progress, the fitness challenge becomes significantly greater.  This is a pre-registered class and limited to 4.

   2. Pilates Chair and Mat classes - Challenging core, strength and stability this workout will wake your body up in an exciting new way. Taught on the Pilates Wunda chair, this class is the future of Pilates training. Working on your own individual piece of equipment you'll be guided through a dynamic series of exercises that will take you beyond the mat class. Great for men and women! Some pilates mat experience is recommended. This is a pre-registered class and limited to 8.

   3.  Kids Yoga (Ages 3-5) - taught by Nina.  Yoga, adapted for pre-school children, develops body awareness, language, good listening skills, cooperation and powers of observation.  It teaches pre-school children about nature, their environment and inspires their imaginations. It prepares them for breathing techniques used in yoga. This is an ideal time for children to begin a yoga practice.  This is a pre-registered class.
