Tall Ship coin from Royal Canadian Mint by our own John Horton

Hot off the press - a new coin from the Royal Canadian Mint has one of John Horton's images on it. It was just recently released and is one of a series of tall ship coins produced by them. The coin is limited to a production of 16,000 and not a circulation coin, but a collector’s coin. It is packaged in an attractive maroon display holder. Purchase one for your collection or for Dad - (Father's day on June 18th!)

Go to the web site listed below and you will be able to see the coin. The sky is a hologram and for those of you who have not seen a hologram coin this is a very stunning coin. And quite large too.

You can order the coin directly from the Canadian Mint, or, better still, support the Gulf of Georgia Cannery Society which operates the National Historic Site by purchasing the coin from their gift shop - which is open 7 days a week.
