Current featured image: Steveston, B.C. Circa 1898. A steamer with yards, a three masted ship, a four masted barque and two more three masted ships; all five vessels loading cases of canned salmon for the United kindom, etc. The stern-wheel steamer, beyond, is probably the Victoria to New Westminster ferry boat. The horse drawn stage for Vancouver entered the forest at Eburne, now Marpole, and by a slit in the towering firs and cedars, "called the North Arm Road", now Granville Street South, reached the clearing known as "fairview" at the city boundary, 16th Ave. Photo presented, 8 July, 1947 by Mrs. A. E. Campbell, Vancouver. Photo by B.J. Thomson, Photo, City of Vancouver Archives, BO P297
