NEW BUSINESSES and BUSINESS HAPPENINGS IN THE COMMUNITY

***LADIES GOLF***

Below is some information on a fun tournament that many of you ladies may be interested in. A group of us decided there were not enough fun things for the hard working ladies of Richmond. We also wanted to do some good while networking (as ladies always want to do) Feel free to call me for more info or register directly alone or in a foursome. This is a course good for all levels of golfer and believe me all levels will be there including first timers.

Also available is the opportunity to get your business name out there by donating a prize for the silent action or the gift bags so call me if this is the way you would like to participate and I will try to talk you into golfing to!

Hope to see you there.

CONGRATULATION!! STEVESTON WINEMAKERS

Won the Richmond News Readers’ Choice Award for Best Winemaking and Best U-Brew. This is the 7th year in a row we have won this award.

We are proud to announce SIP WINES is the recipient of the Georgia Straight 2006 Best of Vancouver Award for Best Painless Saturday-Afternoon Wine-Tasting! What is significant is that we are one of the very few Best of Vancouver Award winners not located in the City of Vancouver. To quote the Straight, “Portfolio tastings, single-winery events, book signings, visiting winemakers – all of it unfolds in a very relaxed atmosphere”…”it’s a bit of a drive, but it’s high on the list of the Lower Mainland’s very best ways to get next to new wine.” Our thanks to our customers, staff, John Levine and our visiting winery owners, winemakers, authors (including John Schreiner and Jurgen Gothe) and participating winery representatives, for all contributing to the unique experiences we share at these relaxed, enjoyable and educational events.

THE STEVESTON VILLAGER BUSINESS DIRECTORY

Thanks to all the Business who supported the Summer Issue. The last of my cases were delivered to Tourism Richmond last week. I am pleased with the response for this issue, except that there are no more for our fall visitors. I will endeavour to have the next issue out as soon as possible to catch visitors and Christmas shoppers. This issue will not be, however, a Christmas issue as it will have a longer shelf life, to catch the Winter and Spring visitors. Details are below, please help me get this out by reserving your position now. sunor@steveston.bc.ca
