WESTCOAST REALMED

Is pleased to announce a new service designed to fill a void in the healthcare sector. Most people know that in the event of a medical emergency, you call 911 and emergency responders will deal with the situation. But what many don’t understand is that there are a large number of obstacles to an emergency response.

Realmed’s consultants are licensed paramedics who know first-hand the problems that arise, and how to avoid them. Their goal is to provide peace of mind to their clients and also any relatives and caregivers, with the knowledge that they will receive quick and accurate medical care during a health crisis.

A health portfolio is prepared following a face-to-face interview detailing all vital personal and medical information in the same format that is used by paramedics, doctors, and hospital staff. This will ensure that healthcare providers will have exactly the information they need right at their fingertips.

In addition, clients and their families will receive education on the emergency medical response system. This includes what to expect during a 911 telephone call, the emergency response personnel, and how to be better prepared for medical emergencies in general. Each consultation is customized based on individual needs, special care requirements, and the physical aspects of the home.

For more information, please visit the WestCoast Realmed website at www.realmed.ca, or contact us by phone or email. Tel: (604) 295-6337. Email: info@realmed.ca
