SOS CHILDRENS VILLAGE

SOS Children's Village BC provides foster children with life skills and family homes for a lifetime... we have had a stellar year of helping foster children with the help of people like you. SOS is making a huge impact on their lives by providing stable homes, literacy skills and tools they need to be healthy happy adults. Check out our website for our latest ground breaking news... www.sos-bc.org

We are continuing our fundraising efforts into 2004 and an easy way for people to help is by choosing SOS as their charity of choice on their company United Way campaign card. Simply go to the Agency list, look for "other" and fill out "SOS Children's Village BC registered charity # 12993 5011 RR 0001"

Thanks so much for your help, and we look forward to helping even more foster children next year!

RICHMOND HOSPITAL AUXILIARY THRIFT SHOP

Our shop is located at 3920 Moncton St. and has been in Steveston for 27 years. Our Annual Curio Sale, held Nov. 7th & 8th, was a great success. We thank everyone who came, found some treasures, and spent their money in support of the Richmond Hospital. Our Christmas stock is now in the store, and there are lots of ornaments, decorations, etc., at super prices. In December, we will be presenting the Hospital with a cheque for $225,000. The Hospital provides the Auxiliary with a "Wish List" and we get to choose what equipment, patient comfort needs, etc. we feel would do the most good. The Richmond Hospital serves the whole community of Richmond and we depend on the same community to support our Thrift Shop. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal customers for their support, and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New year.
