Automobile Information

From Richmond
Steveston is located in the Southwest corner of Richmond. Any main artery west will take you to No. 1 Road. Turn South on No. 1 Road and proceed to the end. You've arrived!

From The USA Border
Travel Hwy 99 North from Douglas Border Crossing until you reach the George Massy Tunnel. Keeping in the right lane, follow the Stevston Hwy. Exit. Travel west on Steveston Hwy. until you reach No. 1 Road. Turn left and follow No. 1 Road south until the end. You've arrived!

From the Oak Street Bridge
Crossing Oak Street Bridge, follow Hwy. 99 South until you reach the Stevston Hwy Exit. Travel west on Steveston Hwy. Until you reach No. 1 Road and follow it south until the end. You've arrived!

From the Arthur Lang Bridge / No. 2 Road Bridge
Following the Airport route staying in the left land, take the Richmond Exit. Head south to No. 2 Road Bridge and cross into Richmond. Follow No. 2 Road to Moncton Street, turn right and follow Moncton to the heart of Steveston. You've arrived!

From the TransCanada HWY 1
On choosing your route west through Vancouver your closest route south would be across the Knight Street Bridge. Follow directions for Richmond and BC Ferries, as these will route you to Hwy. 99 South. Follow Hwy. 99 South until you reach the Stevston Hwy Exit. Travel west on Steveston Hwy. Until you reach No. 1 Road and follow that south until the end. You've arrived!


Transit Information

From Richmond
Within Richmond the following routes come directly to Steveston:

401 – One Road / Richmond Centre / Garden City
402 – Two Road / Richmond Centre / Bridgeport
407 – Gilbert / Richmond Centre
410 – Railway / Richmond Centre / 22nd Street Station

From Vancouver
To use transit directly from Downtown Vancouver, you must take the 98 B-Line from Burrard Station to Richmond Centre. Here you would transfer to any of the following:

401 – One Road / Richmond Centre / Garden City
402 – Two Road / Richmond Centre / Bridgeport
407 – Gilbert / Richmond Centre
410 – Railway / Richmond Centre / 22nd Street Station

During the AM and PM rush hour periods Monday to Friday there is direct service
from Downtown Vancouver to Steveston. These three routes are:

490 – Steveston / Burrard Station – afternoons only
491 – One Road / Burrard Station – mornings and afternoons
496 – Railway / Burrard Station – afternoons only

In addition, the 22 Knight service connects with the 402 Two Road at the north end of the Knight St Bridge. Please talk with the driver on-board the bus for details.


From New Westminster, South Burnaby, North Delta, and Surrey
The 410 – Railway / Richmond Centre / 22nd Street Station provides a direct service from the 22nd Street SkyTrain station in New Westminster. It takes approximately one hour to travel the entire route.

Bicycle Information

Within Richmond
Richmond provides some the best cycling opportunities in the Lower Mainland. Being relatively flat and with scenic trails and bike routes it is hard not to think of cycling to Steveston. There is the West Dyke Trail that follows the western shoreline of Richmond directly to Steveston. Also, Dyke Road provides another excellent route to Steveston. In addition, there are continuous bike lanes along Garden City Road, Granville Avenue, and Railway Avenue which passes by Richmond Centre. For a detailed map go here.
